In the Indiana University Department of Apparel Merchandising and Interior Design (AMID), motivation is a two-way street.
Our department is a multidisciplinary academic environment within the College of Arts and Sciences that helps motivated students shape their futures in interior design, retail and fashion industry careers. Our educational core features three academic groups: the Design Studies Group, Retail Design + Merchandising Group, and Fashion Design + Culture Group. To support the academic goals and aspirations of students, we have an exceptional faculty and staff who are equally motivated to offer a unique blend of academic theory and practical knowledge through comprehensive curricula and coursework.
